Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron), a homeless black teen, has drifted in and out of the school system for years. Then Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock) and her husband, Sean (Tim McGraw), take him in. The Tuohys eventually become Michael's legal guardians, transforming both his life and theirs. Michael's tremendous size and protective instincts make him a formidable force on the gridiron, and with help from his new family and devoted tutor, he realizes his potential as a student and football player.

There's too much emotional manipulation and huge problems seem to get solved a little too easily for it to be 100 percent believable, but it is an entertaining movie anchored by two very good, but very different actors.

It's good, but nothing more. It's moving, but not enough to stay with you for life. In short, it's a simple film, but very good. The ability to convey this story with great empathy stems from a straightforward script and Bullock's bold performance. The characters are well-developed, and the emotions they evoke become complex. Because, of course, you empathize with them, but then you wonder, is any kind of discrimination in society ever justified, or just normalized? It touches on very sensitive issues in the best way. However, I also don't think it should have been chosen as one of the best films of the year. Many might criticize it for being a film from a white perspective and argue that there are better films that address the same topic. However, even though we advocate for more diverse films now, it's also necessary to understand this perspective, which this film immortalizes in a simple, family-friendly drama

It lies about a true story. Quite a lot. And i can never get behind a movie which lies about real history. Wasn't all sunshine and roses, and the protagonist wasn't adopted by the family in real life. Just search for what Michael Oher said about his experiences to get a full picture of why this film is a bit... icky. It's pretty enjoyable and well constructured, but it's a lie nonetheless.

Filme legal, o roteiro é legalzinho, as cenas são legais pra caralho, a história é legal, o elenco é legal, e a metade do elenco ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são legais, e o filme tem uma atuação boa da Sandra Bullock, com tudo isso, eu recomendo esse filme vale a pena assistir.
